Over the past 20 years, the Belgium Center has provided community-based services to a broad spectrum of clients in Nassau County. Melillo staff is responsive to the mental health needs of children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens. Staff are available for consultations to schools, industry and other provider agencies in the community.

Our Standards

The Belgium Center is dedicated to providing effective mental health and chemical dependency services with commitment to accountability, confidentiality and professional service delivery regardless of race, sex, ethnicity or ability to pay. The Center is staffed by qualified licensed and certified mental health and chemical dependency professionals in psychiatry, psychology and social work.

Confidentiality

Each client has the right to privacy and confidentiality. Clients are assured of confidentiality in contract and in record-keeping procedures.

Fees for Services

Fees are charged according to ability to pay. Payment can be made through third party insurance carriers, Medicaid, Medicare, and HMOs.
